ipadiPad (February) After conducting a beta program for this application, and receiving an overwhelming response as the application was widely praised and accepted by testers we launched PEPID for the Apple iPad, making it the first point-of-care application designed to take full advantage of the device!

Pill PicturesPill Pictures (February) we announced release of the highest resolution pill pictures into our extensive clinical decision support database. More recently we have made these images available for all Platinum Online subscribers! Now healthcare professionals can easily identify patient medications and reduce medication errors.

AHFS DI EssentialsAHFS DI Essentials (February) we introduced Electronic AHFS Drug Information to pharmacies nationwide. With the announcement of our partnership with the American Hospital Formulary Service (AHFS), we were able to put the AHFS Essentials drug information in electronic format and deliver it on any mobile device or within any EMR system.

Duplicate Therapy Checker
(May) we announced the addition of duplicate therapy checking to our robust drug interaction checker. The duplicate therapy check allows electronic medical record or pharmacy information systems to give users a warning if a duplicate therapy exists.

Pharmacist ProPharmacist Pro (May) we introduced Pharmacist Pro with AHFS providing all the information a pharmacist needs, integrated with all the AHFS drug information a pharmacist knows and trusts. Pharmacist Pro features the only interactive drug-allergy checker available, the most powerful drug interaction checker, thousands of clinical situations and diseases, hundreds of labs and diagnostic tests, thousands of pharmaceutical calculators and the entire AHFS DI Essentials.
NDC
U.S. National Drug Code Database
(September) we announced that we now deliver the United States National Drug Code (NDC) database to heath IT systems. The PEPID National Drug Code (NDC) database contains all the medications currently approved by the FDA, including prescription, over-the-counter (OTC) and homeopathic medications. The database covers approximately 200,000 unique NDCs.

McGraw HillMcGraw Hill Products(September) we brought you the electronic version of McGraw Hill’s Hurst Review NCLEX-PN. The Hurst Review NCLEX-PN can help you study for your NCLEX in half the time using Marlene Hurst’s “no cram pass with what you already know” strategies. We also brought the electronic version of McGraw Hill’s Laboratory & Diagnostic Tests, A portable guide offering everything needed to understand tests, educate patients and provide safe, effective care before, during and after the test.

amazon fireBlackBerry Playbook & Amazon Fire – (December) with our most recent release we are bringing PEPID to the BlackBerry Playbook and the Amazon Fire device. Both devices run our Android app!
