These guidelines were developed to assist in familiarizing health
care providers with early recognition, reporting and treatment for
a broad range of biological, chemical and nuclear events. Patients
may require none, some or all of the recommendations described in
the guideline. These guidelines should not be construed to prohibit
such flexibility.

by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Bioterrorism
Hospital Preparedness Program.
