PEPID Download and Installation Instructions for Blackberry users

Before Installation: Check memory and device requirements

Operating System: OS 4.2+

Memory Requirements: 5-40 MB depending on your PEPID Suite. Visit our FAQ for detailed memory requirements.

Other Requirements:

  • Active Internet Connection (Installation): An active internet connection (data plan) is required to install / update PEPID.
  • Active Internet Connection (General Usage): An active internet connection is required to use the Drug Interaction, Medical Calculator, Dosing Calculator and Differential Diagnosis modules.
  • Memory card: A memory card (MicroSD card) is required so that you can install PEPID to the memory card, rather than the Blackberry's device memory.

STEP 1: INSTALL PEPID APPLICATION


  Visit www.pepid.com/ota on your Blackberry.

  Select Blackberry OTA.

  Select Install PEPID for Blackberry.

  Select the Non-Touchscreen link unless your Blackberry has a touchscreen.

  Check Set Application Permissions and then Download.
     All Permissions should be set to Allow.


STEP 2: INSTALL PEPID SUITE


 Open PEPID on your Blackberry. The icon should be located in Applications or Downloads.

 In PEPID, press the menu button and select Download OTA.[show me]

  Enter your PEPID account´s email address and password, press the menu button and click Ok. [show me]

  Highlight the PEPID product you wish to download. Press the menu button and select Download.[show me]

  Once the download is complete, you will receive the Download complete message. Press the menu button and select My PEPID. [show me]

  From the My PEPID screen: select your PEPID Suite and then select Get Link to open your PEPID product.


STEP 3: REGISTER PEPID SUITE


  If you need to Register PEPID on your Blackberry, visit your Account page and select the Register option.


STEP 1: INSTALL PEPID BOARD REVIEW


  Visit www.pepid.com/ota on your Blackberry.

  Select Blackberry OTA

  Select Install PEPID BoardReview for Blackberry

  On the Install Board Review page, select Install PEPID Board Review for BlackBerry.

  On the download screen, select Set Permissions and then Download.
     Set all Permissions to Allow.


STEP 2: REGISTER PEPID BOARD REVIEW


* This step is only required if you purchased one of the BoardReview products

  On the main screen of the BoardReview application, press the menu button and select Register.

  Enter the email address and password for your PEPID account and press the menu button and then Ok.

  You should then receive a "Products were successfully registered" message. Just click Ok and start using your BoardReview Product(s)


STEP 1: INSTALL PEPID FLASHCARDS


  Visit www.pepid.com/ota on your Blackberry.

  Select Blackberry OTA

  Select Install PEPID FlashCards for Blackberry.

  On the following screen, select the link that corresponds with your purchase: FlashCards Medical (EM Board Review/ECG FlashCards) or FlashCards Nursing (HazMat Illustrations).

  On the following screen, select the link that corresponds with your device: Non-Touchscreen or Touchscreen.

  On the download screen, select Set Permissions and then Download.
     Set all Permissions to Allow.


STEP 2: REGISTER PEPID FlashCards

* This step is only required if you purchased one of the FlashCards products

  On the main screen of the BoardReview application, press the menu button and select Register.

  Enter the email address and password for your PEPID account and press the menu button and then Ok.

  You should then receive a "Products were successfully registered" message. Just click Ok and start using your FlashCards Product(s)
