Microsoft Active Sync (Windows Mobile Device Center): Microsoft ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center must be installed on your computer.
Active Internet Connection: You must have internet access on your device to install PEPID. Visit this FAQ for information on accessing the internet via ActiveSync (or Windows Mobile Device Center).
.Net Compact Framework (2.0 or greater): This is only required for Windows Mobile 5 users.
SQL Server Compact Edition: This is only required for Windows Mobile 5 users.
Memory card: We recommend that you have a memory card present in your device, so that PEPID will install to the card, rather than the device's memory.
STEP 1: Install PEPID Application
Connect your device to the computer and ensure it is Connected with Microsoft ActiveSync (or Windows Mobile Device Center)
Visit www.pepid.com/ota on your device.
Select the Windows Mobile Touchscreen link.
Windows Mobile 5 Users: select the OTA FAQ link and install the .Net Framework and SQL Server files. These files must be installed to the Device or Main Memory.
Select the PEPID Application link.
Ensure the Open after download box is checked and Save the file to your memory card.
Once the download completes, installation will begin. You will be prompted with a box asking where you would like to install Pepid. Select "Device" or "Main Memory".
Step 2: Download PEPID Suite
Open PEPID on your device. (Start > Programs (Applications) > PEPID)
From the My PEPID screen, select Options and then select Downloads.
At the Account login screen, enter your PEPID Username (email address) and Password.
Next, press the Login button.
On the following screen, you will be presented with your PEPID Suites. Highlight the suite you wish to download and press Download.
Once the download is complete, you will be presented with a message. Press Ok.
You will then be redirected to the My PEPID screen, just highlight and select your PEPID Suite to begin using the program.
PLEASE NOTE: The PEPID Index loads with each start of PEPID. When using PEPID, we recommend that you do not "exit" PEPID if you need to open another program. Instead, keep PEPID open and switch between applications.
