Research In Motion recognizes PEPID for innovation and outstanding results in wireless deployment
The Wireless Leadership Awards acknowledge those BlackBerry partners who have set the standard for business excellence, unique solutions, ingenuity, and customer satisfaction with wireless solutions in the public sector, private sector and with valuable business impact. In May, the Oakland-based CDTN was presented with an award for customer innovation during the annual Wireless Enterprise Symposium (WES) in Orlando, Florida. “I am grateful to accept this prestigious award on behalf of everyone on our hardworking PEPID for BlackBerry team,” says PEPID President John Wagner. "This is an especially great achievement for PEPID’s Information Technology and Editorial departments, and we are thrilled that RIM has recognized their contribution to the success of the CTDN deployment.”
Transplant Coordinators from the CTDN Clinical Services Department refer to PEPID™ RN Critical Care Nursing Suite on BlackBerry® smartphones to help evaluate donors, check drug dosing, and avoid adverse drug interactions in the field. PEPID for BlackBerry is implemented as a back-end solution that is delivered to the field by Verizon Wireless. CTDN’s Information Technology Supervisor, Ben Chau, accepted the Wireless Leadership Award for the Network in a ceremony at the WES on May 9th. “We are proud of our partnerships with the California Transplant Donor’s Network and BlackBerry smartphones,” adds Wagner. “PEPID looks forward to continue working with BlackBerry and enterprises, like the CTDN, to advance the deployment of wireless technology for better healthcare worldwide.” PEPID's entire product line is available for BlackBerry® smartphones and systems integration. “PEPID looks forward to continue working with BlackBerry . . . to advance the deployment of wireless technology for better healthcare worldwide.” |
