Comprehensive Point-of-Care Tools Install Wirelessly on PDAs in Seconds

Evanston, Illinois -- January 15, 2007 – PEPID LLC, the developer of mobile medical information resources for healthcare, announced today new wireless installation service for their line of medical knowledge tools and drug information applications for Palm® handheld devices and Palm OS Treo™ smartphones. This over-the-air (OTA) capability dramatically reduces the time required to install PEPID knowledge tools, allowing physicians and other health care professionals to access to point-of-care reference information more quickly than ever.

Since PEPID can now be installed directly by OTA, users of Palm® devices and Palm OS Treo™ can use the databases, calculators, and drug interaction generators in PEPID from any location wirelessly. Whenever they need it, PEPID subscribers can access the latest medical and drug information without synchronizing their handheld to a desktop computer.
"We were one of the first developers in our space to embrace the capabilities of Palm® and Treo™ devices," says John Wagner, President of PEPID LLC, "and we continue to upgrade our products to better serve the needs of our customers. PEPID users already benefit from our deep medical and nursing content, now delivered with even greater speed."
